Senior Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Executive

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst/ Finance Executive to support our regional finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, reconciliation, and administrative finance activities while managing overseas accounts and supporting regional stakeholders. This role offers exposure to international business operations and requires occasional overseas travel on short notice. Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Monitor key financial metrics and recommend improvement opportunities. Accounts & Reconciliation Handle overseas entities' accounts and ensure timely financial reporting. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Review financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and service providers when required. Payments Management Manage and process payments to vendors, suppliers, service providers, and intercompany entities in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor cash flow requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate payment processing. Liaise with banks and external parties to resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies. Assist in treasury-related activities and cash management when required. Administrative & Operational Support Manage finance-related administrative documentation and records. Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documents for management review. Maintain accurate financial data and filing systems. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Regional & Overseas Exposure Liaise with overseas offices, regional finance teams, and business stakeholders. Support cross-border financial operations and reporting requirements. Assist in regional projects and business initiatives. Travel overseas on short notice when required to support business operations, finance reviews, audits, or project implementations. Project Management & Process Improvement Lead and coordinate ad hoc projects assigned by management. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and systems. Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of project objectives. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Support internal and external audit activities. Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent) are an added advantage. Experience 5 years and above of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis. Experience handling regional or overseas accounts is preferred. Exposure to project management and process improvement initiatives is desirable. Comfortable working with regional and international stakeholders across different time zones. Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Demonstrate flexibility in working hours when necessary to accommodate meetings and urgent business requirements across different regions. Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders located in multiple countries. Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage.
