Senior Account Executive

Job Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation). Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure records are tidy, accurate, and up to date. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules. 2. Payables, Receivables & Payments Review and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments with complete documentation. Prepare payment runs and ensure approvals are properly tracked. Issue client invoices and follow up on collections — because healthy cash flow matters. Maintain AR/AP ageing reports and keep things organized for easy tracking. 3. Cash Flow & Bank Management Liaise with banks on payments, and account matters. Prepare cash flow forecasts and highlight funding or collection needs early. 4. Compliance & Reporting Submit SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB filings on time (and with zero errors). Liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure a smooth audit and compliance process. Maintain clean and audit-ready documentation at all times. 5. Make Things Better Spot areas for process improvement or automation — and help implement them. Work with management to refine reports, templates, and financial dashboards. Contribute ideas to make accounting operations more efficient, accurate, and transparent. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. 3 years’ experience handling full sets of accounts and bookkeeping. Hands-on experience with SQL, AutoCount, Xero, or similar software. Solid understanding of accounting standards (MFRS) and local compliance requirements. Sharp eye for detail. Enjoys working independently, but also easy to work with in a team.
