Operation excellent: Transportation, Business, Engineering Your new company Our client is a leading global logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong presence across Hong Kong and international markets. As part of its continued focus on operational governance, system enhancement and transportation performance management, the business is now looking for a seasoned transportation professional to drive fleet visibility, cost discipline, subcontractor governance and system-led improvement of the vertical business unit Your new role Develop and enhance transportation management systems and dashboards covering vehicle utilisation, fleet cost, fuel usage, mileage, operating hours, driver behaviour, and repair and maintenance performance Establish fleet governance frameworks to strengthen cost visibility, utilisation review, R&M monitoring, exception reporting and management review across Business Units Partner with BU management and Operations teams to identify low-utilisation or high-cost vehicles and recommend practical improvement actions Develop subcontractor governance frameworks including price benchmarking, KPI measurement, performance review and compliance monitoring Coordinate transportation policies, operating standards and system implementation across Hong Kong Business Units to improve consistency and transparency Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, Operations and external vendors to improve data accuracy, automation and reporting discipline Lead and develop a small team of 4 FTEs while driving governance, accountability and continuous improvement across the transportation function What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, Engineering, Finance or related discipline Minimum 6 to 10 years' relevant experience in transportation, fleet management, cost control, subcontractor management or system implementation Strong understanding of vehicle utilisation, fleet cost control, repair and maintenance management, subcontractor KPI and transportation governance Proven ability to build reporting frameworks, dashboards and management review mechanisms to support operational decision-making Strong analytical, coordination, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, TMS, Power BI or dashboard tools would be advantageous A valid Hong Kong driving licence is preferred, as the role may require site visits to depots, workshops, subcontractor locations and BU operations Excellent command of English and Chinese; Cantonese is required and Putonghua is preferred What you'll get in return This role offers the opportunity to work with a market‑leading infrastructure platform, delivering high‑value, technically complex projects with strong governance, stability and long‑term growth prospects.
