About Betagro Ventures Betagro Ventures is the corporate venturing arm of Betagro Group, building and scaling businesses across Venture Building, Venture Capital and Strategic Partnerships in foodtech, agritech and the broader food ecosystem. We are looking for a Ventures Lead to help build the operating platform that enables our ventures to move from ideas to scalable businesses faster and more effectively. About the Role This is a hands-on operating and business-building role, working closely with the Managing Director, Founders in Residence and Betagro Group teams. You will oversee the venture portfolio, support the development of new ventures, build shared capabilities across Finance, IT and Marketing, and drive strategic priorities from decision through execution. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across strategy, business building and operations, is comfortable with ambiguity, and takes ownership beyond a defined job scope. Key Responsibilities Venture Portfolio & Operations - 35% Lead the venture-building stage-gate process from ideation through validation, launch and spin-out. Drive portfolio reviews and maintain visibility of venture performance, runway, capital deployment, hiring and key risks. Identify issues early and drive evidence-based continue, pivot or discontinue decisions. Connect ventures with relevant Betagro Group capabilities, expertise and resources. New Venture Building - 25% Develop and validate new venture ideas aligned with Betagro Ventures’ strategic priorities. Lead market sizing, business modelling, unit economics, competitive analysis and key diligence. Prepare business cases and Investment Committee materials. Support new venture setup, including operating model, systems and initial team. Act as an interim operating leader for early-stage ventures when required. Shared Functions – Finance, IT & Marketing - 30% Build scalable shared infrastructure across the venture portfolio. Oversee financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and venture-level cash/runway management. Establish shared technology, information security and data/PDPA practices. Lead the Betagro Ventures corporate brand and shared marketing capabilities. Develop processes, systems and tools that enable ventures to operate efficiently and scale. Strategic Execution & Office of the Managing Director - 10% Partner with the Managing Director on strategic priorities and key initiatives. Prepare materials for senior management, Investment Committee and Board-level discussions. Translate decisions into clear actions and drive follow-through. Ensure resources are focused on high-impact initiatives and priorities. What We’re Looking For 8–12 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in an operating role within an early-stage company, ideally pre-Series B. Experience in startup operations, venture building, consulting, investment, corporate strategy or a similar high-ownership environment. Strong business and financial modelling skills, with an understanding of cap tables, SAFEs/convertibles, dilution and investment mechanics. Demonstrated ownership of a P&L, budget or significant business outcome. Strong analytical, structured problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong technology and systems literacy. Professional fluency in Thai and English. Comfortable working across strategy, finance, operations, technology and marketing. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to move from strategy to execution. Preferred Qualifications Experience in foodtech, agritech, FMCG, agriculture or the broader food ecosystem. Venture studio, venture builder or corporate venture capital experience. Experience working in or with a listed-company environment. Founder or co-founder experience. CPA, CFA or MBA.
