Retail Banking and Wealth (RB&W) Business Risk Management, Fraud and Credit Control - Credit Control Services We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Collections . Principal responsibilities Lead, plan and co-ordinate a wide range of projects, including offshoring migrations, process reviews, system and manpower related issues to ensure the smooth delivery of credit collection services Provide prompt responses and recommendations on credit policies to adapt to the fast and changing market Initiate and manage legal proceedings against debtors by instructing external solicitors/counsel and ensuring cases are progressed within agreed timelines and budgets. Ensure all legal recovery activity is conducted in line with Group standards, local regulatory expectations, and fair customer treatment principles. Represent the bank at hearings as required, and coordinate witnesses, evidence packs, affidavits, and documentation with internal stakeholders and external counsel. Liaise with the Official Receiver’s Office / Outside Trustee on bankruptcy related matters Handle and manage external solicitor firms (Third-Party management), formulate guidelines for law firms and ensure their adherence to Group, HASE and regulatory guidelines Motivate team members and provide adequate training and job rotation opportunities Requirements University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in credit risk or complaint handling and project management, in relation to retail banking products Good understanding of portfolio management technique including analytics Strong interpersonal / leadership skills Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes You’ll achieve more when you join Hang Seng Bank Limited. www.hangseng.com/careers https://www.linkedin.com/company/hang-seng-bank Hang Seng is committed to service excellence.
