We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) , NLP , and scalable AI architectures to help shape intelligent solutions that enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and ensure responsible AI adoption. Key Responsibilities Design, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs for enterprise and automotive applications, ensuring robustness and reliability. Build and maintain automated AI pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring across global platforms. Develop LLM-based solutions integrated with backend systems and customer-facing applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and customer-focused AI solutions. Implement cloud-native architectures with containerization and GPU orchestration for cost-optimized performance. Explore and adopt emerging AI advancements , ensuring Mercedes-Benz remains at the forefront of innovation. Contribute to responsible AI practices , including model safety, guardrails, and ethical deployment. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Python and analytical problem-solving. Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, and semantic models . Skilled in fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs , including quality assurance and failure mode analysis. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and scalable data architectures. Familiarity with GPU orchestration and cost optimization strategies. Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset . Results-driven, emphasizing scalable, maintainable solutions . Bonus Points Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc.). Hands-on work with RAG systems, vector databases, and embedding pipelines .
