The Opportunity We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Presales Architect / Principal Solutions Consultant to join our Professional Services Team in Hong Kong. In this pivotal role, you will act as the technical bridge between our innovative solutions and our clients' strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Services, Technical Support, and R&D teams—not only within the region but across our global network. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to influence enterprise architecture decisions, lead complex discovery workshops, and design robust integration solutions that solve real-world business challenges. Key Responsibilities Technical Sales Strategy: Partner with the sales team to define and execute a winning technical sales strategy for each prospect, ensuring alignment with their business objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations to all levels of a prospect’s organization, from technical architects to C-suite executives. Discovery & Solution Design: Lead discovery workshops to uncover customer requirements and critical business challenges. Develop comprehensive Blueprints and architecture designs that address both technical and business needs. Solution Evangelism: Evangelize the value of our solutions by leading architecture discussions around API Management best practices, performance, scaling, security, and topology. Proof of Concept (POC) Management: Own the end-to-end management, coordination, and execution of POCs. Develop detailed POC plans with agreed-upon use cases to demonstrate technical viability. Technical Content Creation: Assist with the delivery of technical and product consulting content for RFP/RFI responses. Thought Leadership: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events, delivering technical/product presentations and supporting content creation for campaigns. Implementation Support: Collaborate with the broader delivery team (Solution Consultants, Cloud Engineers, R&D, Partners) to support solution implementation when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Tertiary qualification in Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Experience: Proven experience in technology-related roles, ideally within a software or solutions vendor environment. Technical Breadth: Broad knowledge across IT domains including Integration, Cloud, UX, and Business Process. API Management: Hands-on experience designing and deploying API Management solutions using products such as Axway, Apigee, Mulesoft, WS02, Kong, Boomi, Layer 7, or IBM Datapower/APIConnect . Modern Architectures: Deep understanding of architectural principles for cloud and hybrid systems (SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, security, elastic scaling). Familiarity with DevOps integration and processes for digital business. Cloud Platforms: Good understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Integration Expertise: Experience with EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). Containerization & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including K8S containerization, security, scaling, monitoring, messaging patterns, and microservices. Language: Fluency in English and Cantonese (written and spoken) is mandatory. Certifications: Cloud Architect certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent). Methodologies: Experience with Agile project management and development methodologies. DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Chef, or Puppet. Key Competencies & Soft Skills Continuous Learner: Highly motivated to learn new technologies and stay current with the product portfolio and industry trends. Strong Point of View: Confident in expressing a strong, informed point of view in the Business Line domain.
