Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy, policies, standards, and programs in alignment with business objectives and applicable legal requirements. Lead and oversee safety training programs, including new employee and contractor orientation, safety awareness programs, and other HSE-related training. Ensure training effectiveness and maintain accurate training records. Champion a strong safety culture across the organization by promoting safety awareness, safe working practices, and proactive hazard prevention. Lead the monitoring and measurement of environmental aspects and impacts in the workplace and ensure appropriate controls are implemented. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE Plans, procedures, and management systems in compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and company requirements. Ensure effective communication and implementation of organizational HSE policies, standards, and procedures across all functions and operational sites. Provide HSE leadership and hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate occupational health, safety, and environmental practices into business operations and projects. Lead the management and reporting of health, safety, and environmental incidents, including investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, non-compliance management, and trend analysis. Lead and oversee risk assessments (site-specific) with operational or project management teams and contractors, ensuring appropriate risk controls and mitigation measures are implemented and monitored. Establish and oversee contractor HSE management processes, including contractor selection, induction, performance monitoring, compliance, and site activities. Conduct regular workplace, equipment, and machinery inspections to identify unsafe conditions and ensure timely corrective actions. Lead and conduct regular site observations. In the event of a safety lapse, takes immediate corrective action. Analyze HSE issues, identify improvement opportunities, and develop effective solutions, preventive measures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and support Safety Committee meetings, management reviews, internal audits, and site safety audits, and ensure follow-up and closure of identified actions. Monitor HSE performance through appropriate KPIs and metrics, prepare management reports, and provide recommendations to management for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with applicable Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, including coordination with relevant government authorities where required. Provide HSE advice and guidance to management and employees on safety risks, legal requirements, and appropriate control measures. Lead, coach, and develop the HSE team to ensure effective delivery of HSE programs and achievement of organizational objectives. Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through employee engagement, best practices, lessons learned, and proactive risk prevention initiatives. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, engineering, or project. Experience in managing site-specific safety programs for contractors, subcontractors, or general contractors Proven experience in HSE management, including HSE management systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, contractor management, and safety audits. Strong knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing, construction, and project environments in Thailand. Possess a Thailand Professional Safety Officer Certificate (Jor. Por. Wor.). Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive a strong safety culture across the organization. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence safety behavior at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, develop practical solutions, and drive continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to manage change and work effectively in a dynamic business environment. Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple HSE activities and meet business and HSE objectives. Good command of spoken and written English. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license. Willingness and ability to travel to other provinces and operational sites as required.
