EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS (6 months contract)

Flex Fleet Sdn Bhd is a Kuala Lumpur-based manager of offshore “FLEX” crewboats that are designed and built by Penguin Shipyard International in Singapore. The business of operating a fleet of high-performance vessels requires a dedicated team of ship management professionals with specialized skill sets. We are seeking suitable candidates to join us in the following vocation: EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS Reporting to the Accountant, you shall be an integral member of Flex Fleet’s ship management team in Kuala Lumpur, which manages a fleet of modern high-speed crew boats. Your key responsibilities shall include: Reports directly to the Accountant and the General Manager on matters of finance and accounts. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial/management/cash flow reports. Able to handle Accounts Payable closing and Bank Reconciliation. Provide monthly analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance. Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies/procedures. Liaise with external auditors, company secretaries, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities. Actively support and take part in all HSE matters according to company policy. Requirement: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in finance or accounting (1–3 years) is an advantage. Experience with WORKDAY is an additional advantage. Expected skill sets include proficiency in English (both spoken and written), effective communication skills, and proficiency in relevant Microsoft Office programs. A proactive 'can-do' attitude, the ability to work effectively in a team, and demonstrated integrity in a fast-paced environment are essential.
