Excavator Operator – Forgate Contracting

About the role Forgate Contracting is expanding and looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join the team. You will operate a well-maintained fleet of company-owned machinery, including excavators ranging from 14T to 30T, on subdivision projects across Queensland. Projects are currently underway in Hervey Bay, Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast, with upcoming work in Toowoomba and tenders in Rockhampton. Key responsibilities Operate 14T–30T excavators on subdivision projects Utilise GPS machine-control systems Travel with the crew to project sites across Queensland Maintain commitment to safety and quality workmanship About you Proven experience operating 14T–30T excavators GPS machine-control experience—essential White Card and relevant tickets/licences Willingness and ability to travel for work—essential A great attitude and the ability to work well within a crew Strong work ethic and reliability About us Forgate Contracting undertakes subdivision projects and operates a well-maintained fleet of company-owned machinery.
