This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient IT operations. Key Responsibilities Drive sales of IT solutions to Hong Kong higher education institutions (universities, institutes, tertiary and post‑secondary institutions) Develop new accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing higher education clients; build long‑term strategic partnerships Conduct client meetings, understand business and technical requirements, and deliver solution presentations Follow up on leads, arrange product demonstrations, prepare proposals and quotations, and coordinate with internal teams for project delivery Work closely with solution and technical teams to translate customer needs into feasible and competitive solutions Meet assigned sales targets and KPIs; provide regular pipeline, forecast, and sales progress updates Where applicable, support opportunities in related education or NGO sectors as an extension of the core higher education business Job Requirements 3-5 years of solid IT sales experience serving Hong Kong higher education institutions Proven track record of selling IT solutions directly to universities, tertiary institutions, or similar higher education bodies in Hong Kong Experience in IT solutions sales; exposure to public sector, education, or NGO customers is an advantage Familiarity with one or more of the following areas is a plus: AI / RFID / IoT / ERP / CRM / Cloud / Cybersecurity / Managed IT Services Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven Solid understanding of the full sales cycle: lead generation → needs discovery → solution proposal → closing Willing to perform field work and actively build and maintain a higher education customer network Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager We offer attractive remuneration and benefits and on-the-job training to the qualified candidates.
