Field Service Engineer Note: New Zealand Residence or Citizenship is required As one of our Field Service Engineers, each day will not look the same! Using your company fleet vehicle and provided tools, you will visit various customer sites to ensure onsite resolutions for our customers. You will provide outstanding support and technical expertise and will be focused on delivering excellent service to our customers in your assigned territory. Reporting to NZ Operations Manager and as a key member of our APAC Field Services team; you will undertake product training when you start with us, along with ongoing access to our Global Technical Support Services. Key Areas of Responsibilities: Diagnose and Repair Self Check Out (SCO), Point of Sale (POS) Machines and other NCR Voyix products for our customers Perform periodic preventative maintenance on assigned products; diagnose problems, make repairs, and replace components or modules Parts management and organisation Accurate and prompt reporting of calls and activity, as well as other reporting as required Tracking and reporting all expenses incurred in the delivery of services Capturing detailed customer asset information and other data required to complete any invoicing or billing activities Continuous training online and in classrooms Work autonomously in the field and office Ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA) May require occasional regional and in-country travel, including overnight stays away from home Work to achieve the Key Performance Indicators established on a routine basis to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, superior quality outcomes, awareness and maintenance of cost and safe operations as highest priority Basic Qualifications: Basic Computer skills to include Windows OS navigation and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude Preferred Qualifications: Electro-mechanical device repair and aptitude Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus Recognized qualification within the Electronics or IT Domain preferred To be successful for this role, you must have: Passion for new technology Willing to travel and complete service calls as assigned Able to work autonomously, professionally and be an excellent communicator Valid New Zealand Driver's license Strong customer service skills Experience with electromechanical equipment High attention to detail Be in New Zealand and have NZ Residence or Citizenship Be able to work non-standard shifts; 5 day week including a weekend day
