Director, Product Development & Innovation

SCHSA is seeking a visionary and commercially astute Director, Product Development & Innovation to lead our innovation agenda and drive the development, commercialization, and scaling of impactful products, services, digital solutions, and new business models that advance healthy ageing, independent living, preventive care, elderly safety, and community wellbeing. Reporting to Senior Management, you will identify emerging market opportunities, transform customer, and market insights into innovative solutions, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric, commercially viable, and scalable offerings. You will play a key role in positioning SCHSA as a leader in GeronTech, elderly safety, digital health, and innovative community care solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute SCHSA's innovation and product development strategy to support organizational growth and long-term sustainability. Lead the end-to-end design, development, launch, and scaling of innovative products, services, and digital solutions. Drive commercialization initiatives through robust business cases, revenue models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans. Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and partnership opportunities that strengthen SCHSA's leadership position and social impact. Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Care Services, and ICT teams to ensure solutions are customer-focused, operationally scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives. Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, start-ups, and industry stakeholders to accelerate innovation and growth. Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Senior Management and the Board on innovation performance, future opportunities, and organizational transformation. Requirements Minimum 12 years' senior leadership experience in product development, innovation, healthcare, GeronTech, HealthTech, digital transformation, technology, or related sectors. Proven track record in developing, launching, and commercializing innovative products, services, platforms, or business models. Demonstrated experience in identifying, managing, and partnering with technology vendors, solution providers, and implementation partners. Solid understanding of ageing services, healthcare ecosystems, community care, digital health, smart living technologies, or related sectors. Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and execution capabilities. Extensive experience in building strategic partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering organizational transformation.
