Special Education Teacher – January 2027 Rewarding Teaching Roles Across Melbourne Teaching – Special Education (Education & Training) $90,000 – $126,000 per year January 2027 Starts | Permanent, Fixed-Term & Contract Opportunities Prospero Teaching is partnering with leading schools across Melbourne to recruit passionate Special Education Teachers for positions commencing in January 2027 . We are looking for dedicated primary and secondary educators who are passionate about supporting students with neurodiverse needs and specific learning requirements in inclusive, supportive learning environments. Opportunities are available across Melbourne metropolitan and regional areas , with a range of permanent, fixed-term and contract positions. The Role As a Special Education Teacher, you will: Deliver personalised learning support in one-on-one and small-group settings. Create inclusive classrooms where students of all abilities can thrive. Develop and implement personalised learning programs for students with neurodiverse needs and varied learning abilities. Monitor, assess and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to support each student's holistic development. Contribute to schools committed to excellence in inclusive education and child safety. About You We are looking for a student-focused and motivated educator who: Holds a recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or equivalent. Has VIT registration or eligibility. Has Australian working rights – WHV holders are welcome. Holds or is willing to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance .
