About the Role As a Crop Farm Worker, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our mixed farming enterprise. The role involves operating tractors and agricultural equipment, carrying out routine maintenance, maintaining orchards and truffle plantations, and harvesting and grading premium produce. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to work across all aspects of multiple fresh produce, including machinery operation, crop maintenance and harvesting. Key Responsibilities • Operate tractors and agricultural machinery for cultivation, maintenance and harvesting activities • Perform minor servicing and maintenance on farm machinery and equipment • Prune avocado trees and assist with orchard maintenance • Apply fertilisers and soil treatments as directed • Slash grass and maintain vegetation around orchards and farm infrastructure • Prepare and operate spray equipment for herbicide, fungicide and pesticide applications • Harvesting crops using appropriate farm procedures • Grade, sort and prepare harvested produce for storage, packing and distribution • Monitor crops for pests, diseases and general plant health issues • Maintain clean and organised work areas and equipment • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times • Assist with other general farm duties as required throughout the season. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Hold the relevant qualification at the level of a Certificate I or higher, OR at least one (1) year of relevant work experience; • Previous experience in farming, horticulture, orchards or general agricultural work (preferred) • Experience operating tractors or agricultural machinery • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine machinery maintenance • The ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work • A strong work ethic and attention to detail • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team • A current driver’s licence (preferred) What We Offer • Full-time permanent employment • Generous salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience) • A supportive and friendly team environment • The opportunity to work in the South-West of Western Australia • Diverse seasonal work multiple crop production If you are hardworking, dependable and enjoy working outdoors in a practical farming environment, we would love to hear from you.
