Position Overview The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end pre-contract review process, ensuring compliance with tender and contractual requirements, coordinating bank guarantees, overseeing third-party insurance claims and disputes, and acting as the global insurance and legal coordination point for the organization. The role acts as a critical link between commercial/sales teams, insurance partners, legal counsel, and group/external audit functions. Key Responsibilities Pre-Contract Review : Review customer tender requirements, quotations, and contract clauses prior to submission/signing, flagging commercial, legal, and operational risks Deviation approval : Process Sales and deviation approvals (from standard terms, pricing, or contractual norms) in line with internal governance, maintaining a clear documentation and audit trail Bank Guarantee : Manage end-to-end bank guarantee requests for pre-contract/tender cases, liaising with banks and internal finance teams. Maintain a track of validity, renewal, and closure of guarantees issued Third-Party Insurance Claims & Disputes : Review, negotiate, and close third-party insurance claims and disputes in coordination with insurers and affected third parties. Maintain claims documentation and track resolution timelines Global Insurance Coordination : Act as the global point of coordination for insurance matters across all contract types and cases. Liaise with insurance brokers/providers on policy coverage, renewals, and claims. Ensure appropriate insurance coverage is in place for contracts, projects, and operational risks. Provide insurance-related guidance to all business teams as needed Legal Advisory & Group Legal Coordination : Coordinate with external legal counsel and group legal function on contract review, disputes, and compliance matters. Review company contracts for legal soundness and support external and group audit processes with relevant documentation Key Skills & Competencies Strong contract review and risk assessment skills Working knowledge of insurance frameworks (claims handling, policy coverage, disputes) Basic understanding of bank guarantee/financial instrument processes Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with legal, finance, sales, and external parties Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline Negotiation and stakeholder management skills
