Sport Coaches and Umpires

Welcome to the community of Abbotsleigh. Abbotsleigh is a Pre-kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican day and Boarding school for girls located in Wahroonga, Upper North Shore. Our curriculum is broad and encourages all areas of creativity and innovation, from our earliest learners to our Senior Girls. Our teachers are role models who inspire each girl to strive to reach her personal best. ‘With education, women can do, or be, anything.’ (Miss Betty Archdale, 6th Headmistress 1958 – 1970) Abbotsleigh Senior and Junior School run a comprehensive Saturday Sports Program. We are seeking dynamic and dedicated sports people to join our sport program for Term 3 and 4, 2026. We currently require coaches and referees for the following sports: AFL Coaches Basketball Coaches and Referees Tennis Coaches Touch Football Coaches and Referees Volleyball Coaches Water Polo Coaches and Referees Coaches are required for training sessions after school on weekdays and for competition on Saturday mornings. Umpires are required for Saturday sport competition 8 am - 12 pm. Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications (minimum 16 years of age). Payment for coaches is provided fortnightly with a minimum of two hours per shift.
