Supply Chain Specialist (NPI)

What You Will Do Confirm components readiness before every sample build to ensure the success of the build. Align physical and system stock number to minimize discrepancies risk by means of Gemba, supply chain and production departments alignment. Coordinate with supply chain department to ensure that all components’ orders are placed on time to the suppliers with appropriate lead time. Manage customer orders manually before SAP set up. Manage project stock area where non mass production components are stored. Confirm the remaining stock of components after every build. Construct project components database based on products’ BOMs, with the visibility on customer orders, component stocks, SAP readiness, next batch arrival, on time indicators. In charge of new packaging management, coordinate with the packaging engineer from receiving packaging requirement to off tool part for the project. Monitor SAP set up progress EDI (sales order entry) ->MRP (Material requirement planning)-> MRD (material release document to production and WH) ->SA (scheduling agreement to the suppliers) for every project. Support and monitor manual PO with purchasing and supply chain team while SAP is not yet completely set up, or experiencing unexpected delay. Coordinate with production team to pack the samples and supply chain team on the shipment. Monitor sample shipment and escalate if customs issues are found. On time escalate on low stock level or any shortages if necessary. Manage design change component cut off stocks to minimize the scrap by monitoring stock level Qualifications: At least 3-5 years of supply chain experience Good level of Microsoft Excel Cross functional communication skills. Material planning experience. Part shortage prevention and awareness. Good command of English. Familiar with Engineering BOM and Engineering change Familiar with Automotive industry especially on E-components management
