About the role Support the design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of IoT and telematics solutions for logistics, transportation, fleet and supply chain applications. This role combines IoT and telematics solution engineering, programming and systems integration, IoT platform support, and supply chain logistics engineering to deliver end-to-end connectivity and visibility solutions. Key responsibilities Configure and integrate IoT devices including GPS trackers, environmental sensors, BLE devices, gateways, vehicle telematics systems and other connected hardware Conduct device testing, commissioning and validation to ensure reliable connectivity, sensor accuracy and data transmission Develop and maintain software components, scripts and utilities to support IoT device integration, data processing and operational automation Work with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON and other integration methods to connect IoT devices and telematics platforms with internal and third-party systems Support integration with customer systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems and other supply chain platforms Configure dashboards, alerts, geofences, business rules, sensor thresholds and reporting requirements according to operational use cases Troubleshoot device connectivity, network registration, positioning and data transmission issues Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for IoT devices, telematics systems and platform-related issues Analyse logs, telemetry and historical data to determine root causes of technical or operational incidents Coordinate with customers, logistics operators, drivers, warehouse personnel and internal teams during implementation About you Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, IoT, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline Working knowledge of programming or scripting, preferably Python, JavaScript, SQL or similar languages Familiarity with APIs, JSON, databases and system integration concepts Understanding of IoT technologies, GPS/GNSS, cellular communications, BLE, sensors and telematics systems would be advantageous Knowledge or practical experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, fleet management, warehousing or supply chain operations is strongly preferred Comfortable working with both hardware and software, including hands-on device configuration and field testing Willing to undertake site work, technical deployment and regional travel when required
