Accounts Administrator

About the role We are seeking an exceptional accounts administrator to join our existing finance team based at Hampton Downs, on a permanent part time basis. You need to be customer focused, proactive, with the ability to problem solve and build efficiencies in the workplace. We are a small team, and everyone has a part to play. You need to be a good communicator, be confident at working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, roll with the punches, and could be trusted with confidential information. Key responsibilities Overseeing and managing the interface between the booking system and the financial system (Xero), including the transfer and reconciliation of transactions between the systems Accounts Receivable – full function Accounts Payable – full function Bank & General Reconciliations Cash banking and reconciliations Ad hoc reporting on performance, fixed assets, stock taking etc. Actively contributing to improving the efficiency of the role and team About you Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role High level of experience with accounting software, Xero would be advantageous but not essential Excellent bank and general ledger reconciliation skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Computer skills including the Microsoft Suite Tech Savvy and able to keep up in a fast moving tech environment Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Multi-entity experience desirable Benefits The opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that does not settle for anything less than exceptional This is a part time role with flexibility on the occasional increased hours, early start or weekend required to accommodate events Discounts off our experiences About us We are in the business of providing adrenaline packed fun at several locations across New Zealand.
