Introduction Fairagora Asia (www.fairagora.com) is a Bangkok-based consultancy firm supporting agricultural operators in either the certification process or their journey towards sustainability improvement. We collect production, environmental, and social data from farms and processing plants to provide risk mapping and to assess the priorities for improvement areas. We then conduct workshops and provide training to the farmers. Our vision is a food production system that honors both the environment and the farmers. Join us to help make it a reality! You will be based in Bangkok and will be responsible for the timely deliverable of Fairagora Asia (FAA) projects. You will mostly work on Human Rights-related projects in the agriculture sector. The work can be related to sustainable standards and certification advisory services (BONSUCRO, GAP, SRP, Organic regulation, etc.) or to FAA's own set of social and environmental metrics. Job Title: Agriculture Project Associate at Fairagora Asia Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Natural Resources, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. ● A Master's degree is an advantage but not required. What you absolutely need: ● Excellent agricultural knowledge and understanding of Thai farmers' mindset ● Fluent English for professional communication (speaking and writing) ● Fluent Thai ● Excellent at data analysis (advanced use of Excel, MySQL, Python, R, etc) ● Driving licence Experience ● 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, sustainability, agriculture, supply chain, ESG, or related fields. ● Fresh graduates with exceptional organizational skills, a strong learning mindset, and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply. ● Experience working with farmers, rural communities, NGOs, government agencies, or corporate sustainability projects is an advantage. Technical Skills ● Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. ● Good knowledge of Google Workspace and Canva. ● Able to organize and analyze project data and prepare professional reports and presentations in English. ● Experience with analysis, survey tools (e.g., KoboToolbox), or sustainability data collection is a plus. Communication: ● Strong written and verbal communication skills in Thai. ● Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate with international partners. ● Comfortable facilitating meetings, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and presenting project updates. Personal Competencies: ● Demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned work. ● Highly organized with excellent planning and time management skills. ● Strong problem-solving ability and able to make decisions independently. ● Detail-oriented while maintaining focus on overall project objectives. ● Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines. ● Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new concepts quickly. ● Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Field Work ● Willing to travel frequently to project sites and agricultural communities. ● Comfortable working in outdoor environments and interacting directly with farmers and local stakeholders. ● Holds a valid driver's license and is confident driving to field locations (preferred). Preferred Attributes ● Knowledge of sugarcane, cassava, or rice farming in Thailand ● Knowledge of regenerative agriculture, climate change, carbon reduction, and sustainable food systems. ● Experience working with international organizations or multinational companies. ● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality results. ● Strong stakeholder management and follow-up skills. ● High integrity and professionalism. Location ● Depending on profile, Bangkok, Khon Kaen, or Nakhon Ratchasima. ● Frequent travel to project sites for field visits and farmers' training is required. ● Occasional travel to Bangkok or other locations for meetings, training, or project activities is required.
