With a strong pipeline of projects and continued business growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. The Role We are seeking a self motivated and result-oriented Senior Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of construction projects from procurement through to completion. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in contract administration, procurement, design management, cost control, subcontractor management, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Administer head contract obligations, including notices, claims, variations, and extension of time submissions in accordance with contract requirements. Manage subcontract procurement from tendering through to award, including scope review, negotiation, and subcontract execution. Prepare, assess, and process subcontractor progress claims, variations, and final accounts. Assess and manage head contract variations, including pricing, substantiation, and submission to the client or superintendent. Track project costs, commitments, and forecast final project outcomes in coordination with the project team. Support the Project Manager in managing contractual risk, including delay analysis, entitlement assessments, and dispute avoidance. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of contractual correspondence, including notices and responses to client/superintendent determinations. Maintain compliance with head contract and subcontract conditions, including security of payment legislation requirements. Coordinate with site teams, design consultants, and procurement teams to ensure commercial alignment with construction progress. Assist in preparation of monthly project reporting, including cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and claim summaries. Manage subcontractor compliance documentation, insurance, warranties, and statutory requirements. Support resolution of commercial disputes and assist in preparation of contractual claims where required. Participate and add value to Design Management by identifying value management opportunities, and review of documentation to ensure thorough documentation of scope. Act as a mentor for peers and project staff. About You Essential Requirements Degree in Construction Management or related discipline Minimum 10 years’ experience in high-density class 2 residential, or industrial construction Strong understanding of construction contracts and project financial management Proficient in using construction management software such as Procore, Breadcrumb, Bluebeam, or similar Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and construction methodologies Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills What We Offer Strong career growth opportunities within a growing builder Exposure to diverse and challenging construction projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive salary package based on experience Long-term opportunity with a stable project pipeline
