About the role We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Thailand operations in Pathum Thani. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager based in Singapore, you will play a key role in managing the Thailand entity's accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and finance-related activities. You will work closely with the Group Finance team in Singapore to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the company's growing operations in the clean energy and commodities sector. Key responsibilities Manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting for the Thailand entity Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Manage accounting for foreign currency and multi-currency transactions, including foreign exchange impact and reasonableness calculations Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances to support Group consolidation Perform analytical reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and investigate significant variances Ensure compliance with Thai statutory accounting, tax, and financial reporting requirements Prepare schedules, supporting documents, and financial information required for statutory and Group audits Ensure all statutory filings and reporting requirements are completed accurately and within required deadlines Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, government authorities, and other relevant external parties when required Work closely with the Group Finance team in Singapore to ensure alignment with Group accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements About you Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with CPD certificate Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within the Commodities, Manufacturing, Logistics, Oil & Gas, or related industries Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, statutory requirements, and financial reporting Solid experience with multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange accounting, and their impact on financial statements Experience working with overseas headquarters is highly desirable Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Good command of written and spoken English for communication with the Singapore HQ and regional teams
