PROCUREMENT MANAGER (Direct & Indirect Material)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in optimizing procurement costs, ensuring supply continuity, and supporting overall business operations. Location: Bangkok Thailand Division: Operation Support Reports to: Executive Management Position Type: Full-Time MANDATE SCOPE OF PROCURMENT MANAGER Lead procurement activities across Direct Materials, CAPEX, and OPEX categories. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers and vendors to achieve the best commercial terms. Manage supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities. Handle import procurement activities including customs clearance coordination. Welcome and coordinate vendor visits from overseas suppliers. Conduct spending analysis and drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Develop risk management plans to mitigate supply shortages and operational disruptions. Work closely with internal stakeholders and legal team to ensure favorable contract terms and compliance. Prepare procurement reports, and strategic recommendations for management. THE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment Strong experience in contract negotiation, supplier development, and cost optimization Proven experience handling Direct Materials, Indirect Procurement, CAPEX, OPEX, Import/Export, and Customs Clearance Experience dealing with overseas suppliers and managing international sourcing activities Professional certifications (CSCP, CPM, CPSM) are a plus LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
