About the role An Experienced Roofer / Team Lead role based in Palmerston North and the wider Manawatū region. You will be installing long-run metal roofing, cladding, and flashing systems while leading on-site workflows and supporting team members and apprentices. Key responsibilities Installing long-run metal roofing, cladding, and flashing systems Leading on-site workflows, guiding team members, and supporting apprentices Communicating clearly with clients, builders, and management regarding project progress Managing site safety, measuring components, and ensuring top-tier quality control About you Minimum 3+ years of hands-on metal roofing and re-roofing experience Proven ability to guide small crews, delegate tasks, and lead by example on site Good communication skills to deal professionally with clients and coordinate smoothly with the crew A clean, current New Zealand driver's licence A reliable track record with a clean personal/work history and a strong commitment to safety and reliability Legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ Residency or valid work visa) Benefits Highly attractive hourly rate reflective of your skills A genuine pathway into higher supervisory roles Supportive local crew working on diverse residential and commercial jobs
