We are looking for a hands-on Senior System Administrator to support and enhance our enterprise infrastructure environment. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Windows Server and/or Linux environments Support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or Nutanix Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related identity services Support enterprise storage, backup, restore and disaster recovery solutions Perform system patching, upgrades, capacity monitoring and lifecycle management Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Maintain infrastructure standards, security hardening, monitoring and technical documentation Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python or Bash Coordinate with application, network and security teams, as well as external vendors, on operational issues and infrastructure projects Provide technical guidance and support to other team members when required Occasionally travel to Asia regions Requirement: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered Around five years or more of hands-on experience in system administration or infrastructure support Strong practical experience in Windows Server and/or Linux administration Hands-on experience with VMware or other enterprise virtualization platforms Experience with Active Directory, enterprise storage and backup technologies Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs Experience in infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python or Bash Good analytical, communication and documentation skills Able to work independently and handle critical infrastructure incidents under pressure Advantageous Skills: Experience supporting 24/7 enterprise, manufacturing or other high-availability environments Exposure to Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud environments Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform or other automation tools Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure, Cisco or ITIL We offer 5-day week, competitive remuneration package including double pay, medical, life & personal accident insurances, education sponsorship and good career prospects to the right candidate.
