Job Description The Lead Engineer, Fullstack designs, builds, and operates full-stack services for a product squad, leading technical execution and ensuring smooth integration with adjacent teams. Drive reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency so the squad ships roadmap outcomes faster and with higher quality, directly contributing to product OKRs. Responsibilities Design solutions for complex projects by coordinating within the team or multiple use cases to achieve successful and timely project outcomes. Independently execute the fixing of defects and management of technical debt to ensure software quality and performance by resolving issues promptly and adhering to code quality standards to maintain robust and efficient systems. Lead documentation standards within the team to ensure that information is of high quality and facilitates effective onboarding. Guide team member development by improving code quality guidelines within a team to ensure code quality and best practices are maintained. Coordinate communication by managing stakeholder expectations and providing feedback, aligning technical work with project goals to support successful project delivery outcomes. Requirements Analytical Thinking Effective Communication Flexibility & Adaptability Initiative Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on fullstack development. Expertise in at least one programming language or framework (e.g., JavaScript, Go, Java, Node.js, NestJS, ExpressJS, React, Angular). Experience in Agile methodologies. Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Technical/Functional Skills: Frontend Software Development Backend Software Development Testing and Debugging Microservices Architecture Cloud Platforms DevOps Practices Database Management System Design & Architecture Leadership/ Behavioral Skills: Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
