Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of the grounds and maintenance across our Station Bay development and Station Bay Lodges, with additional work supporting the Lakes Edge Holiday Park. About the role Your primary responsibility will be our Station Bay development, an exciting project that is growing quickly. You will ensure all grounds are kept to a high standard all year round, and you will be the go-to person for any maintenance repairs at our high-spec Station Bay houses. This includes after-hours responsibilities when guests staying at Station Bay Lodges need assistance with maintenance. Alongside Station Bay, you will assist the Park Managers with the upkeep of Lakes Edge Holiday Park, a large campground that is busy all year round, with 36 rooms, 150 powered and non-powered sites and an 80-bed backpackers’ lodge. With guests coming and going daily, there is always upkeep and repairs to be done, and that’s where having great initiative comes in. Training will be given, but you must have previous experience in a maintenance or landscaping role. Experience working in areas that get snow would be a great advantage. You will have solid hands-on maintenance skills, including general repairs, painting, preventative upkeep and day-to-day fixes across buildings and facilities, along with knowledge of basic landscaping and grounds work, such as tractor driving, irrigation, weeding, planting and lawn mowing. You pride yourself on your attention to detail, finding solutions and having a pragmatic approach that allows you to juggle several balls at once without breaking a sweat. Great initiative will be a key aspect we are looking for. You’ll need excellent planning and organizational skills, a clean driver’s license, and the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all levels and ages of people. Being a team player is a must. It takes a village to run both these businesses and we all work as a team to get the job done. But you will also be required to work on your own a lot of the time.
