Job Responsibilities: 1、On-site Interpretation: Based on-site at the IDC (Internet Data Center), providing real-time interpretation support (English-Chinese bilingual) for the project team during equipment installation, network commissioning, and troubleshooting scenarios. 2、Technical Document Translation: Translating and organizing IDC operations and maintenance (O&M) documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), change notices, and emergency response plans, ensuring synchronized updates for both bilingual versions. 3、Technical Liaison Support: Assisting the project team with technical alignment, including simultaneous interpretation during meetings, and translation of ticketing logs (Work Orders) and email correspondence. 4、Daily Site Inspections: Participating in daily data center walk-throughs; recording, translating, and reporting equipment alarms and environmental monitoring data to ensure timely escalation of anomalies. 5、Cross-Cultural Coordination: Collaborating with the Project Manager to facilitate cross-cultural communication and providing ad-hoc language support during critical or emergency situations. Job Requirements: 1、Education: College degree or above; majors in English/Translation, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields are highly preferred. 2、Language Skills: Proficient in both Chinese and English, capable of using both as working languages for fluent oral and written communication. Fluency in Bahasa Melayu is a strong plus. 3、Professional Knowledge: Familiar with foundational terminology for IDC, servers, and network equipment (e.g., UPS, PDU, Switches, Bandwidth, Latency, etc.); prior translation experience in the IT or telecom industry is highly preferred. 4、Core Competencies: Strong sense of responsibility, excellent on-site adaptability, and high cross-cultural communication awareness.
