Construction Manager

About the Company Our client is a successful, highly respected, local residential construction company based in Newcastle. They are looking for a Construction Manager to join their team, where the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of all upcoming projects. About the Role As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of residential construction projects, working closely with the construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities of this role include: Managing construction projects from conception through to completion Overseeing all builds to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and suppliers Managing project schedules and project financials Facilitating the preparation of building specifications and coordinating projects deliverables Ensuring contractual performance requirements are met Monitoring project progress and resolving issues as they arise Evaluating, managing and minimising project risk About You Tertiary qualification in Construction Management and holding a current NSW Builders/Supervisors Licence Experience in residential construction as a Construction Manager, Site Supervisor, or Foreperson Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities Strong understanding of residential construction processes, building regulations, and safety requirements Proven people management skills with exceptional communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused approach Advanced computer literacy and familiarity with construction management software packages Benefits Growing business Competitive remuneration Company car, mobile phone and laptop provided Cooperative company culture If you are excited by this opportunity and are looking to apply your experience from working in the residential construction industry, please APPLY.
