We are currently seeking a qualified Plumber to join our team at the Papakura Military Camp. If you're looking for a role that offers variety without the need to travel between sites, this is a fantastic opportunity. You'll work across the camp carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and project work across a diverse range of residential, commercial, and operational facilities. About the Role In this role you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance activities that help maintain the functionality, safety, and compliance of plumbing systems throughout the camp. Working alongside a skilled team of tradespeople, you'll deliver high-quality workmanship while supporting the ongoing maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure across the Defence estate. Key Responsibilities Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations Respond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns Complete inspections and preventative maintenance activities Diagnose faults and identify appropriate solutions Maintain accurate job records and maintenance documentation Manage plumbing materials and equipment effectively Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations Identify and report maintenance issues and asset condition concerns Follow safe work practices and contribute to a positive safety culture Participate in on-call rosters and call-out responses as required About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: New Zealand Certificate in Plumbing (Level 4) At least 5 years' trade-related experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively Good written and verbal communication skills A collaborative approach and strong customer focus Full New Zealand Driver Licence (Class 1) The ability to obtain and maintain an NZDF Security Clearance and a MOJ Check Why Join PAE?
