Hydrovac Operator

We have a vacancy for an experienced Hydrovac Operator to drive and operate a Vac Truck while working within our electrical maintenance and project teams. We are looking for an energetic team player with a can-do attitude, reliable, understands safety, has good communication skills, takes pride in their work and operating plant, and enjoys working in a team. Some of your duties will include: Operate and drive Hydrovac Truck as and when required on project and maintenance activities in Canberra. Safely perform hydro excavation to expose underground utilities and electrical infrastructure Correctly operate and perform daily maintenance procedures on Hydrovac Completion of JSA's or necessary paperwork Assist qualified trades Ability to work as part of a team Support team members when required What skills and experience do you need? Minimum MR Drivers Licence Experience and competency operating and maintaining a Hydrovac Truck White Card Asbestos Awareness Training Working with Asbestos Containing Materials Silica Awareness Training Although not essential, candidates with the following will be looked upon favorably: Under or over 11 meter EWP Tickets Evo Energy Blue Book training Traffic Management Cards If you are looking for a role in a good team environment, with an opportunity to work with new plant and equipment then we encourage you to apply.
