Contract Administrator - National Builder - CBD project

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR | HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT | MELBOURNE CBD The Opportunity Our client is a well established national contractor with a reputation for delivering complex, high value projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team on a complex health infrastructure project in Melbourne's CBD. Current and future projects include: • Health Infrastructure • Data Centres • Social Infrastructure • Build to Rent • Multi Residential • Commercial Construction Key Responsibilities • Management of trade and subcontract packages from procurement through to final account • Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements • Assessment and processing of progress claims and variations • Cost forecasting, reporting and budget control • Management of procurement schedules and tender processes • Supporting project delivery teams to achieve commercial and programme objectives • Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and client representatives About You • 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction • Experience working within a structured Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment • Proven experience managing trade packages on projects valued at $50m+ • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction contracts • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline • Ambitious, proactive and looking to build a long term career with a leading contractor What's On Offer • Attractive salary package aligned with experience • Secure pipeline of major projects across multiple sectors • Exposure to some of Victoria's most significant construction projects • Strong leadership and mentoring from experienced project teams • Clear progression pathways into contracts management • Positive and collaborative team culture If you're looking for a role that offers both immediate project exposure and long term career development, we'd welcome a confidential discussion.
