About the role Depending on the project, you may be involved in a range of carpentry work including residential and commercial construction, framing and structural work, interior and exterior fit-outs, renovations and alterations, door, window and hardware installation, decking, cladding and finishing work, and general maintenance and remedial work. You will be reading and working from plans and specifications, and working alongside other trades and site teams. Key responsibilities Residential and commercial construction Framing and structural work Interior and exterior fit-outs Renovations and alterations Door, window and hardware installation Decking, cladding and finishing work General maintenance and remedial work Reading and working from plans and specifications Working alongside other trades and site teams About you Qualified or experienced Carpenter Solid hands-on construction experience Good understanding of building practices and site procedures Ability to read plans and work from specifications High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Strong health and safety awareness Reliable, punctual and professional approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Own basic tools and reliable transport Relevant trade qualifications, Site Safe or other site tickets are an advantage
