About the role Kedzlie Contracting is looking for a reliable and hardworking Civil Construction Labourer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position working across a variety of civil construction and maintenance projects throughout Banks Peninsula. Key responsibilities General civil construction and earthworks labouring Assisting with excavation and site preparation Shovelling, raking and spreading aggregates Assisting with road and driveway construction and maintenance Assisting with drainage installation and repairs Assisting with retaining wall construction Compaction and reinstatement work Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment Assisting excavator operators and truck drivers Using basic hand and power tools About you Be physically capable of undertaking construction labouring work Be reliable and willing to work as part of a team Be able to follow instructions and work safely Be willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Be willing to learn new skills Previous civil construction or earthworks experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided to a suitable applicant
