THERAPEUTIC YOUTH WORKER – SECURE - FEMALE ONLY Campbelltown, Sydney, NSW Casual | Part-time | Full-time Supported Accomodation Services provides trauma-informed, therapeutic care to children and young people in Out-of-Home Care. Our work is grounded in safety, dignity and consistency, and we place strong emphasis on supporting our staff to deliver high-quality care in a structured and well-supervised environment. We are currently seeking female Therapeutic Youth Workers to support female children and young people in a secure Out-of-Home Care setting. You communicate clearly, work well within a team and are open to feedback. You understand the importance of safety, predictability and therapeutic relationships in a secure OOHC environment. Essential experience: • Minimum 6 months paid experience working in Out-of-Home Care Qualifications (essential) • Minimum Diploma of Community Services (or equivalent) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of therapeutic, strengths-based and person-centred care • ARC therapeutic model training (or willingness to complete) Mandatory requirements (or willingness to obtain) • NSW Working With Children Check • National Police Check (less than 12 months) • NSW Driver’s Licence • First Aid and CPR • NDIS Orientation Modules • Australian working rights • Two relevant referees Interview process Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview. To support a smooth and efficient recruitment process, candidates must bring original documentation, including: • Relevant qualifications and certifications • Current National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months) • NSW Working With Children Check • NDIS Worker Screening Check • Three forms of valid identification • Contact details for three professional referees Female-identified role – legal notice This role is open to female applicants only.
