About the role We are looking for a smart, professional and well-rounded Manager to join us in our Newmarket office. You will work alongside the Partner to lead and support the team, ensuring that we continue to provide a prompt, personalised and consistent business advisory service to our clients. In this role, you will: Manage a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining excellent relationships Prepares financial statements, tax returns in conjunction with other team members Reviews set of accounts to achieve outstanding service levels for clients Prepares and reviews IFRS accounts, cashflow forecasts and management reports Assist with specialised advisory work ie due diligence and valuations Provide solutions on complex tax issues and associated business advice for clients Provide compliance, tax management and planning advice About You You are seeking an opportunity to be part of the leadership team of an ambitious, professional Top 10 firm. With an excellent work ethic, problem-solving skills and a positive attitude, you set the right tone for the rest of the team. Ideally you have prior management experience in a mid-tier firm in NZ. Your excellent communication skills mean that you enjoy liaising with and adding value to organisations and people's livelihoods. As a trusted business partner, you easily manage client relationships autonomously. To be successful in this role, you will need exceptional financial reporting skills, an advanced knowledge of Income Tax, GST, FBT and be fully familiar with NZ IRD system. Why Join Us?
