What You'll Do: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting complex hardware, software, network, and system issues through phone, email, chat, and remote assistance. Diagnose root causes using logs, system data, code review, and basic SQL queries; implement fixes, workarounds, and configuration changes. Monitor and maintain IT systems, hardware, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity; assist in deployments, migrations, and integrations. Manage support tickets based on severity, impact, and SLAs; document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues. Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and other teams to escalate issues, test fixes, and validate system updates. Set up new products, items, bundles, and promos; conduct QA testing, ensure production availability, and monitor product-related system concerns. Provide clear and professional technical support to users, participate in company and cross-functional activities, and comply with company policies and procedures. What Makes You A Great Fit: At least 3-5 years as a Technical Support Engineer, Tier 2/3 Support Specialist, or a similar role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
