Position : Business Analyst (Fix Term Contract 2 years) Role Purpose The Business Analyst (AI) bridges the gap between business units and the AI technical team. The role is responsible for gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, and ensuring AI solutions deliver measurable business value. The BA works closely with AI Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to validate that AI initiatives are aligned with business objectives and user needs. Key Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis o Engage with BU stakeholders (Farming, Factory, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to capture business problems and opportunities. o Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for AI/ML projects. o Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user story mapping sessions. Solution Design Support o Work with AI Product Managers to shape solution roadmaps and prioritize requirements. o Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to align datasets, models, and pipelines with business needs. o Define acceptance criteria, test cases, and UAT scripts for AI solution validation. Project & Delivery Support o Track requirements through the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment from design to deployment. o Support program management and PMO with project documentation and reporting. o Contribute to risk identification and mitigation in AI projects. Change & Adoption o Support change management activities, ensuring AI solutions are understood and adopted by end users. o Prepare training materials, user guides, and FAQs for AI tools. o Collect structured feedback post-deployment to drive continuous improvement. Governance & Compliance o Ensure requirements comply with Responsible AI, data governance, and regulatory standards. o Maintain traceability between business requirements, model outputs, and value realization. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related. · 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in digital, data, or AI projects. · Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving ability. · Experience with requirement documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows). · Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks. · Good understanding of data and analytics concepts (data pipelines, dashboards, ML outputs). · Proficiency in MS Office, Jira/Confluence, or similar project collaboration tools.
