Commercial Manager – Architectural Contracts (Successor Role)

Key Responsibilities: Lead negotiation of architectural service agreements with clients across multiple jurisdictions. Advise on commercial strategy, fee structures, and risk management for new and existing projects. Track contract and project progress against agreed milestones and deliverables. Work closely with the accounting and administrative teams to issue, schedule, and track invoices, and follow up on payments in line with contractual terms. Review and manage contracts, proposals, and amendments throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with design and project management teams to align contractual frameworks with design and delivery objectives. Support senior leadership in client engagement, proposals, and business development activities. Participate in a defined handover period with the current role holder to ensure continuity of relationships and knowledge. Candidate Profile Substantial experience in commercial negotiation, contracts, or project management within architecture, engineering, construction, or related professional services. Solid understanding of the architectural design and project delivery process, or closely related consultancy workflows. Mature, professional presence and confidence in dealing with international and regional clients. Fully fluent in English; proficiency in an additional Asian language is an advantage but not essential. Experience working in Southeast Asia or other international contexts is highly desirable.
