Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities Design & Brand Co-Creation • Lead design proposals across trends, themes, design details, sampling through to finished collection. • Act as creative interface with overseas brand clients, maintaining proactive communication on design intent, revision feedback, and milestone deliverables. • Ensure all styles are aligned with each brand's aesthetic and seasonal direction. • Navigate global trend cycles, co-develop mood boards, design briefs, and presentation decks that compellingly communicate creative concepts to brand stakeholders. Technical Development • Work closely with the sample room on fittings, technical specifications, and sample iterations. • Apply strong fabric and material knowledge to elevate product quality. Business Development Support • Prepare design-focused proposals and presentations to support new business opportunities. • Contribute design insights to pitch decks and client-facing materials. Corporate Marketing • Support tradeshows, product marketing packs, and brand promotion collateral. Requirements • 5–8 years of experience in a denim fashion design and manufacturing environment. • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in the denim fashion market. • Excellent trend awareness, styling sensibility, and fabric knowledge. • Language Capabilities: Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese preferred/Mandarin fluent) and professional English. • A strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for work. • Merchandising experience is required. • Design Software Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) a plus. • Willingness to travel to factory and potential customer meetings. • 5-day work We value our employees and provide a competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.
