Retail Banking and Wealth (RB&W) Business Risk Management, Fraud and Credit Control - Credit Control Services We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Collections Manager (Secured Collections) . Principal responsibilities Support the Line Manager in leading a team responsible for managing delinquent within the retail secured loan portfolio (mortgage loan), ensuring day-to-day activities are delivered effectively. Manage the HKMC enquiry promptly and professionally, ensuring it is reviewed, addressed, and actioned appropriately. Initiate legal proceedings against debtors by instructing approved external law firms, and oversee the end-to-end litigation process, including property repossession and the disposal of repossessed assets. Carry out account maintenance and provide administrative support, helping to keep account record accurate and operational processes running smoothly. Support the Risk Management process by coordinating required activities and ensuring relevant information is captured accurately and on time. Compile and prepare statistical reports and performance insights, presenting clear, management-ready analysis to enable effective review and decision-making. Perform periodic and ad hoc reviews of risk accounts and recommend appropriate mitigation actions based on identified risks and emerging issues. Manage customer complaints by acknowledging issues promptly, gathering relevant information, and maintaining clear communication throughout the process. Conduct the necessary investigations to establish the facts, identify root causes, and determine appropriate resolution actions in line with agreed standards and timelines. Requirements University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery / secured lending and mortgage business, with exposure to credit control / administration Strong self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication, credit analytic and supervisory skills Good knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes You’ll achieve more when you join Hang Seng Bank Limited. www.hangseng.com/careers https://www.linkedin.com/company/hang-seng-bank Hang Seng is committed to service excellence.
