We're partnering with a respected Tier 3 commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout the Northern Territory. With a healthy pipeline of work already secured, they're looking to add an experienced Contracts Administrator to their close-knit team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects while enjoying the lifestyle Darwin has to offer. Why You'll Love This Role Competitive salary of $130,000 - $150,000 + Super Stable business with a strong pipeline of projects Diverse commercial construction projects from start to finish Supportive leadership team that values your input Long-term career growth with opportunities to progress Collaborative, down-to-earth team culture Work for a builder known for delivering quality projects across the Territory About the Role Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from procurement through to final accounts—working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams. Key Responsibilities Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements Prepare tender packages and manage subcontract procurement Assess quotations and negotiate subcontractor agreements Manage variations, extensions of time and contractual correspondence Prepare and process progress claims and payment schedules Monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting Track project cash flow and financial performance Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships Maintain accurate project documentation and contract records Support Project Managers to ensure successful commercial outcomes About You To be successful, you'll ideally have: Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial construction Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes Experience managing subcontractor packages and project budgets Excellent commercial acumen and problem-solving ability High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities across several projects A qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (highly regarded) The Company Our client is a well-established Darwin-based commercial builder delivering projects across government, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and commercial sectors.
