Summary The Senior Purchasing Officer is responsible for supporting daily procurement operations, supplier coordination, purchasing documentation, and inventory planning to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain activities. Key Responsibilities Manage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and order confirmations. Prepare and maintain purchasing documents, purchase orders, and procurement records accurately. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock situations. Operate and update ERP and NAV systems for purchasing and inventory transactions. Analyze purchasing data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports. Evaluate supplier performance and support supplier relationship management. Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements and delivery timelines. Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures. Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement. Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and management in English or Chinese. Assist in resolving purchasing, delivery, or inventory-related issues. Support cross-functional coordination between warehouse, finance, production, and management teams. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or any related field. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations. Able to communicate effectively in English or Chinese (Required) . Strong knowledge and experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV) is preferable. Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills. Good understanding of purchasing processes, inventory control, and supplier management. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel is preferable). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
