Officer - Procurement

Key Responsibilities: Process and verify purchase requisitions from various departments. Identify suitable suppliers and obtain quotations for indirect materials. Issue orders to suppliers for both direct and indirect materials. Follow up on delivery schedules and coordinate with departments for goods receipt. Provide demand forecasts to suppliers to prevent supply shortages. Work with the Finance Department to ensure timely payment processing. Address quality claims with suppliers and manage settlement processes. Assist in the application for import licenses for materials. Identify areas for improvement in procurement workflows and initiate constructive changes. Contribute to the formulation and execution of procurement policies and procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the superior or department head. Qualifications: Minimum of five years’ experience in a procurement function. Higher Diploma or above in Procurement or a related discipline. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks with excellent problem-solving and supervisory skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and an organized team player. Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Chinese Word Processing. Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the Senior Officer role.
