Job Description 1. Position Information Job Title: Head of IT Department: Information Technology Location: Thailand Position Purpose The Head of IT is responsible for leading and managing all IT operations in Thailand, ensuring that technology effectively supports business objectives while maintaining compliance with global IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and corporate policies. The role acts as the local Information Technology leader and key liaison between Thailand, International Markets, and Headquarters to deliver reliable IT services, drive digital transformation, and implement global IT initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Lead and oversee the local IT function as the Information Technology specialist. Manage IT projects, including business transformation and organizational restructuring initiatives. Oversee application management, including maintenance, enhancement, incident management, and change management. Coordinate and manage local IT infrastructure, vendors, and service providers. Ensure effective workplace support, including IT asset lifecycle management, end-user support, and operational continuity. Promote IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and adoption of global standards. Drive business efficiency through technology, automation, AI initiatives, and digital solutions. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in: IT Management IT Application Management IT Project Management IT Infrastructure IT Operations or Service Delivery Experience managing vendors and external service providers. Experience supporting business transformation and organizational change projects is preferred. Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of: Enterprise Applications IT Infrastructure Networks Servers Hardware and Software Microsoft technology ecosystem Familiar with: Microsoft Power BI Microsoft Power Apps Microsoft Copilot Microsoft 365 solutions Good understanding of: IT Governance Information Security IT Service Management Change Management Risk Management Behavioral Competencies Strong IT project leadership and execution capability Business-oriented mindset Budget and cost management skills Vendor and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively in an international environment Language Excellent written and spoken English. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Operations & Application Management (25%) Lead local application management activities. Manage incidents, service requests, and escalation processes. Coordinate system enhancements and change requests according to business requirements. Ensure application availability and operational stability. Support user access management. Manage IT service providers and vendors. 2. IT Governance, Security & International Collaboration (25%) Act as the Local Information Security Officer. Identify IT risks and improve security processes. Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks and security standards. Collaborate with International IT teams and Headquarters. Implement global IT standards and guidelines locally. Manage IT budgets and provide transparency to Headquarters. Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. 3. IT Project & Digital Transformation Management (20%) Manage local and global IT projects. Drive technology solutions that improve business efficiency. Support AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives. Manage projects initiated by Headquarters. Lead cost optimization and efficiency improvement projects. Support business restructuring and organizational transformation projects. 4. Infrastructure Management (20%) Manage local IT infrastructure, including: Network Data Center Servers End-user devices Access management Meeting room systems Printers Coordinate with vendors and central IT teams. Provide hands-on support for installation, troubleshooting, and technical issues. 5. Workplace Support (10%) Provide daily IT support to employees. Resolve workplace-related IT incidents. Manage outsourced support providers. Support business applications used locally. Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle: Device provisioning Laptop and phone management User onboarding and offboarding Replacement and configuration management Asset tracking and compliance
