Requirements Degree holder in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. 7+ years relevant experience with at least 3 years working in supplier and/or product quality (Less experience will be considered as Product Quality Manager). Solid experience in metal parts manufacturing, precision mechanical parts assembly and metrology. Experience in metal parts manufacturing and testing in clean room environment preferable. Experience in developing and implementing product qualification and reliability test plans. Solid experience in managing quality issues in launching NPI. Have good understanding of PPAP, IATF16949 and quality tools like MSA, SPC & FMEA. Fluent in English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Responsibilities Work with a cross-functional team to manage quality issues in New Production Introductions (NPI) program, resolving issues in material or process to successfully reach mass production. Work with Purchasing and Engineering Team to develop sourcing and manage supplier quality issues. Establish control plans based on customer requirements and PFMEA for incoming, in process, outgoing and reliability inspection. Drive the implementation of process control in critical process that will impact product quality. Build, train, mentor a new quality team (inspector, engineers and supervisors) to create a culture of quality ownership on the production floor in clean-room environment and ensure consistent application of standards and procedure across all shifts. Initiate activities and programs for continuous improvement on product's quality and manufacturing processes Manage field returns and complaints.
