We’re looking to appoint an Executive Wealth Manager in the beautiful and fast-growing Te Tai Tokerau - Northland region. This is a rare opportunity to build on an established client base, make the most of strong internal referral pathways, and work alongside a high-performing Wealth Advisory network to deepen client relationships and support the continued growth of ASB Invest in the region. You’ll work with high-net- worth clients to develop tailored investment plans, provide trusted relationship-led advice, and help them make confident decisions that support long-term financial prosperity. Te Tūranga | The role As an Executive Wealth Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice to both new and existing ASB clients. This role offers the opportunity to build on an established portfolio while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen the ASB Invest presence in Northland. You'll work closely with Private, Rural and Commercial Bankers and other key stakeholders across the business to deepen client relationships, generate referrals, and deliver exceptional client outcomes. You’ll also: Build and grow your portfolio through internal and external opportunities Develop and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships Deliver exceptional service aligned to agreed service standards Work closely with internal partners to identify opportunities and connect clients with the right specialists Contribute to a strong compliance and risk culture across the business Coach and influence internal stakeholders to better understand the ASB Invest value proposition Ō pūkenga | About you You’ll be a confident and commercially driven Financial Adviser who enjoys working with high-value clients and building long-term relationships. You bring strong technical capability, credibility, and a proven ability to grow a client portfolio. You’ll also bring: 5+ years’ experience in a senior Financial Adviser or Wealth Management role Proven success managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients Strong understanding of financial markets and how they apply to client strategies The ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships Extensive experience in banking or financial services A track record of delivering high-quality, compliant advice Qualifications: Registered Financial Adviser (FSPR) NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) or equivalent Additional qualifications (e.g. Graduate Diploma or global financial planning credentials) beneficial This role will suit someone who enjoys working autonomously, strong risk and compliance focus, is motivated by building a high-quality client base, and is confident navigating complex financial conversations.
