Contract Administrator

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator to join their Melbourne team and support the successful delivery of high-quality commercial fitout projects. Your New Role Manage subcontractor procurement, letting packages and contract administration. Prepare, review and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders. Assess progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments. Manage project costs, budgets and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with forecasting, cost-to-complete reporting and project financials. Manage RFIs, variations, EOTs and other contractual correspondence. Work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure projects remain commercially on track. Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients throughout project delivery. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure contractual obligations are met. Assist with project close-out, final accounts and subcontractor reconciliation. What You Need to Succeed 2+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a commercial builder. Proven experience across commercial fitout and refurbishment projects. Local Melbourne construction experience is highly regarded. Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement and contract administration. Experience managing variations, progress claims and project cost reporting. Strong attention to detail with excellent commercial awareness. Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline are advantageous.
