Customer Project Manager

🚀 We’re Hiring: Customer Project Manager (CPM) 📍 Location: Penang, Malaysia We are looking for an experienced Customer Project Manager (CPM) to join our team in Penang. In this role, you will lead customer programs from initial requirements through development, testing, production, and delivery, while serving as a key interface between customers and our local and global teams. If you are an experienced project manager with strong customer engagement skills, excellent coordination abilities, and experience in the mobile phone or wireless communication industry, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities • Take full ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle for customer programs, including customer requirement evaluation, project kick-off, development, testing, production, and delivery. • Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the company for project-related technical matters. • Lead regular customer meetings to review project progress, resolve issues, and drive action items to closure. • Respond promptly to customer requirements and concerns, ensuring all issues are tracked through resolution and customer confirmation. • Coordinate closely with local and global cross-functional teams , escalating critical issues to senior management when necessary. • Monitor project execution against agreed plans and proactively adjust schedules and priorities when required. • Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and pending issues, and organize relevant teams to develop effective solutions and mitigation plans. • Coordinate project implementation across regional and global teams to ensure successful execution. • Organize and coordinate team support for customer device certification and testing activities . • Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reports covering project status, key achievements, risks, and milestone completion. • Report to the Regional Sales Manager / VP . Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or above . • Extensive experience in Project Management or Customer Project Management . • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and international coordination skills. • Open-minded, quick-thinking, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and drive issues to closure. • Fluent in English ; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage. • Experience working with multicultural and global teams is highly valued.
